She lives in Haridwar and also raises an orphan, Krishna Tulsi. Savita vows to expose them but dies at their hands. Meera falls for Mihir and conspires with Mandira against Tulsi. Sahil indulges in an affair with and marries his colleague, Tripti, as Ganga is disowned. Gautam adopts Eklavya, Ansh and his first wife Shraddha's son. Aditya dies while trying to kidnap Bhoomi Nandini takes the blame and is jailed, but pregnant with Karan's child. Nandini wakes up and lives with Karan, and they marry. Karan marries his friend Tanya to care for Bhoomi. Tulsi shoots Ansh to death as he tries to kill Nandini, who delivers her and Ansh's daughter Bhoomi before lapsing into a coma. Lawyer and Tulsi's friend Meera Singhania becomes fond of Mihir.
Though Karan and Nandini are in love, he gets her married to Ansh who maritally rapes her. Tulsi accepts him Karan loves her more than Mandira. Back to present, Ansh is obsessed with Nandini, friend of Karan (Mihir and Mandira's illegitimate son). Kesar got Tulsi's real son Ansh kidnapped and gave Harsh Ansh was then raised by Harsh's father Raj Bhasin's accomplice Aditya Gujral. Harsh turns out to be Tulsi's sister Kesar's son. Ganga miscarries, and Damini delivers twins. Gautam remarries Damini, who and Ganga are later pregnant. Teesha dies, as she and Gautam face an accident. Sahil marries Ganga while Shobha marries Abhishek. Tulsi gets him married to Ganga whom Sahil loves, but Gautam divorces her and weds his own love, Teesha. Gautam returns with Kiran and Aarti, who now have a daughter Karishma. Mihir's cousin Hemant moves to Australia with his wife Pooja and son Tarun but his second son Sahil lives in Mumbai and runs the family business. Aarti leaves India with Gautam and her husband Kiran. Tulsi gives Gautam to Mihir's sister-in-law Aarti who doesn't has a child. Payal conspires against Viranis, but is exposed. Mandira fakes being pregnant with his child. Her brother Anupam proposes Tulsi, who agrees but cancels their marriage as Mihir turns out alive. Mihir meets with an accident, and is presumed dead. The Viranis accept Tulsi, who eventually also wins over Savita and has a son, Gautam. Savita fixes her son Mihir's marriage to the arrogant Payal, but he falls in love with and marries the family priest's daughter Tulsi.
